Around the world in almost 180 pages, this comparative study on the innovative practices of festivals and tourist attractions is a real journey in the 21 century, a century born with the Internet, social networks and the mutualization of stakes of all kinds. The study commissioned by Festivals et Évènements Québec (FÉQ) and the Société des Attractions Touristiques du Québec (SATQ), in collaboration with the Quebec Ministry of Tourism, Loto-Quebec, the festival offices of major cities of Quebec, some offices of the regional tourism and FAME (Festivals and Major Events) describes the issues related to digital technology, the environment, sustainable development, the interrelations between individuals and the environment around them, to name just a few.
