ArtExpert mandated to report on the action of the FCPA and the CCF Canadian Heritage

Montreal, January 18, 2010 - The Department of Canadian Heritage Cultural Affairs, Quebec Region, mandated the firm ArtExpert.ca to deliver a status report on the Department's actions in Quebec with the programs of the Canada Fund Arts Presentation (FCPA) and the Canada Fund cultural spaces (CCF) for the last 3 years.

The federal government has provided funding of over $ 69 million under these two programs during the year 2005-2010, Quebec.

The Fond du Canada Arts Presentation (FCPA) provides Canadians with direct access to diverse, quality artistic experiences through financial assistance paid to arts presenters or the organizations that support them. The Heart of the Cultural Spaces Canada (CCFC) is helping to improve physical conditions for artistic creativity and artistic innovation. It also aims to improve access for Canadians to performing arts programs scene.ca share the two main thrusts: Reaching target clients and fair disciplinary development. The study attempts to show how the action of the two programs can influence the diffusion of the performing arts in the country. The study paints a portrait of the offer shows, demand and type of cultural facilities in the performing arts in Quebec.
